Senior Research Associate
£29,972 to £35,788 per annum
You will work on the project “MU-MAP – Mapping University Mathematics Assessment Practices” funded by the National HE STEM Programme and led by Paola Iannone at the School of Education, UEA and Adrian Simpson at the School of Education, Durham University. You will conduct surveys with key stakeholders, visit other mathematics departments to gather data and support the development of the key outputs including the ‘MU-MAP Good Practice Book’, professional and academic papers.
As well as a master’s degree in relevant field, you must have a doctorate in mathematics education or HE assessment or have submitted your doctorate thesis and passed your viva by the time you take up the appointment on 1 October 2011 or have equivalent qualification or recent equivalent experience in a comparable role. You will have substantial fieldwork experience and be able to satisfy all the essential criteria detailed in the person specification.
